I started off as a radio announcer, but then I grabbed the opportunity to do voice over for the largest media group in South East Asia.
There, I had the opportunity to learn how to do voice overs properly. One of the most valuable learning opportunities I received was on how to develop various character voices for all kinds of content.
The sense of pride I experienced fueled my drive to keep improving and to pursue excellence. I refuse to settle only as a narrator who can skillfully voice the interest of brands. I continued my pursuit for guidance from senior dubbers for animation and serials to further develop my skills.
All the hard work paid off handsomely. Besides dubbing for locally developed animations which were then aired across South East Asia, I also had the honor to dub for Disney movies.
I was entrusted to represent Indonesia at the global stage as a stadium announcer during the Opening and Closing Ceremony, heard by over 45 countries.
After years in this industry, I am definitely not succumbing to complacency. Indonesia’s ever growing creative industry will surely present me with newer challenges to drive me even further forward.
